It is located next to the Church of Sant Jaume, in the old 14th century hospital. The museum collects materials from the excavations and over the years it has been nourished by the different objects obtained in successive campaigns in the roman city of Pol·lèntia.
The collection is divided into two sections: the provate everyday object exhibition which includes cooking implements, crockery tableware, as well as jewellery and gamerelated objects. The public exhibition which is divided into three areas: public life in the Forum, illustrated by largescale sculptures. Inscriptions or architectural elements; spectacles and the funerary world. There are also several sculptures, like Lysippos' Eros or a child 's Bronze Head.
