Can Castell d'Alcudia, now known as Can Fondo, is one of the most representative buildings of the architectural heritage of Alcudia. It has belonged to the Castell family since 1457.
It was amended during the sixteenth century and the descendants adorned the facade and converted it, after the Germanies, in an elegant building like so many others in Alcudia.
The shields of the windows, which includes the Castell family one, deserve a special mention and they even caught the attention of Archduke Luis Salvador.
The fresco paintings in Can Fondo reflect religious subjects and the figure of St. Anthony of Padua, San Rafael and the Virgin with her attributes are represented in them.
