The culture is present in Alcudia throughout the year but is with the onset of good weather when it moves to the streets.

The Alcudia Auditorium, inaugurated in 2000 has a stable annual programming of performing and musical arts. This infrastructure is used for all types of culture-related events: classical and contemporary music, theatre, dance, cinema...

The Library Foundation of Alcúdia - Can Torró-, is another multipurpose space that has a varied cultural offer and activities (exhibitions, conferences, workshops and various acts) throughout the year.

Theatre moves outdoors in Alcúdia during the Summer months, especially in July and August. The medieval city becomes a great stage to represent the Via Fora. The Via Fora show consists of short theatrical performances which are transferred to the street to explain different moments in the history of the city to those present, performing at the same time a journey through the wall and different corners of the historic centre of Alcudia. A group of actors and musicians will discover treasures hidden in Alcudia and will lead us to the past time.

Continuing with the representations outdoors, you can enjoy them in the Roman Theater of the city of Pollentia. With more than 20 centuries of antiquity, this theater still receives during August a Festival that combines authors' works of the classic antiquity with works of contemporary authors. A magic place where to get lost in the warm nights of August.

Finally, throughout the year, several fairs and traditional festivals include a wide range of cultural activities for all who want to have fun and discover the tradition and culture of Mallorca. Trade fairs such as the Fira d'Alcúdia and the Fira Nàutica i Gastronòmica de la Sípia or traditional festivities such as Christmas, Sant Antoni, Holy Week, Sant Pere or Sant Jaume are a great opportunity to get to know Alcúdia and enjoy its phenomenal cultural and leisure offer.
